AZ Balloon Artist presents Kyle's Balloon Garden

When I first started planning Spring For A Cure last fall I contacted a balloon artist I found on craigslist. Her work was amazing and I thought I need a balloon artist to twist a few balloons for the children. She then invited me to a meeting they were having that night. We took Kyle and he had a blast. From that meeting several balloon artists graciously offered their time and talents.

I am proud to announce that the group Arizona Balloon Artists will be at Spring For A Cure. But they have a much larger vision than I did. They have created Kyle's Balloon Garden for the event. Below are Tobi's words on describing the event and their plans;

"If you have watched the new television show “Unpoppables” on TLC, you may understand what a Balloon Artist goes through on major events. We have our very own team of Balloon Artists here in Arizona and they are available for a large corporate events, weddings, and more. The team has volunteered to create one of the world’s largest balloon gardens, titled “Kyle’s Balloon Garden” to help draw attention to this year’s Spring for a Cure! Tobi, with AZ Balloon Artists, has said that the garden will contain well over 5000 balloons and will have over 170 man hours into this project. To ensure that the children can enjoy the garden to the fullest, each segment of the garden was designed as a centerpiece that can be purchased with a donation of $20."

They will also have all kinds of flowers and little critters available for donations of $1-$3 so that anyone can take a wonderful piece of this amazing garden.

Check out their website at http://www.azballoonartists.blogspot.com/ for amazing pictures and more information about this talented group of balloon artists.

Oh Snap by Carlee......

I am excited to present our photographer for the event. Carlee Komar has generously donated her time and talent to Spring For A Cure. When asked about her business and passion for photography she had this to say:

I have always loved photographs. I would constantly take pictures of my kids and take them to photo studios. My point and shoot just wasn't good at it and I realized every time we went to a studio my kids were unhappy and not cooperating. It ended up costing me over $100 for pictures that were just ok and totally posed. They were just awkward. I was stressed, my kids were stressed. So I decided to come home and sell every designer purse I no longer used and consigned all the clothes that not longer fit my children. With $500 in hand I purchased my first DSLR camera. I immersed myself into everything photography. In a week I knew my camera backwards and forwards. I practiced on anything breathing or not. I was fortunate with lots of opportunities with friends and family that led to the client base that I have now.

Today, I count myself blessed to be apart of so many peoples special moments. Whether its engagements, weddings, pregnancies, newborns, kids, families, or fun, what motivates me the most is catching that second in time for my clients so that it can last forever.

I am so excited to be working with Carlee and know she would capture your special moment also. You can see Carlee's work at http://www.facebook.com/ohsnapbycarlee and http://ohsnapbycarlee.wordpress.com/

Thank you Carlee!!
